Csaroda – Protestant church
The late Romanesque church is one of the most famous Mediaeval buildings in Hungary, a classic example of churches from the Árpád age (896-1301). The slender tower of the church is a symbol of the Bereg region. Out of its murals, the saints with individual, human faces, radiating peace and calmness are the most remarkable. The painted wooden ceiling was made in 1777.
